In this role you will support the team who are responsible for analysing new and amended Investment Management Agreements and Investment Guidelines and implementation of required compliance rules in Aladdin across a multitude of fund structures as directed by the new business pipeline.

Responsibilities

How you’ll spend your time….

* Analysis of Investment Management Agreements, Investment Guidelines, Prospectus and any other supporting documents.
* Implementation of new/amended compliance rules in Aladdin to support investment guideline requirements
* Assist BAU Mandate monitoring team with any coding enquiries
* Follow existing CTI processes and procedures when carrying out contract analysis and rule coding:

  • Review new and / or amended investment guidelines
  • Prepare coding rationale document, complete all required checklists and logs.
  • Ensure rules appropriate rules are assigned to the account and are thoroughly tested (including four-eyes / second review) prior to implementation and tests results are fully documented

* Work with CMIA colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment where possible.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have….

  • industry knowledge and expertise in an investment compliance role
  • Demonstrable evidence of contract analysis, rule coding and testing expertise
  • Understanding of IMA documents/ Prospectuses and legal structures employed across different types of investment mandates.
  • Understanding of UCITS Regulatory Rules pertaining to UK OEIC’s, Lux SICAV and German KAGGS’s
  • Strong communication and analysis skills to deal with internal clients such as Fund Managers, Client Managers, IT and Data Management specialists.

Preferred Qualifications

If you also had this, it would be great….

* Understanding of Aladdin rule coding methodologies.
* Good product, instrument knowledge of Regulated and non-regulated funds. Which includes a good understanding of cash and derivative instruments applicable to mandate monitoring responsibilities.
