Senior Credit Solutions Manager
We design and run custom fixed income solutions for clients, ranging from government bond baskets through to complex Buy & Maintain credit funds.
We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Manager with the experience and desire to drive forward our Buy & Maintain Credit business. You’ll be working to shape our clients’ Buy & Maintain Credit solutions and represent the investment desk and portfolio outcomes externally, but also taking a lead role in shaping what we offer to the market, how we showcase it and further building our business around it.
We want someone who is curious, questioning and driven. Someone who has the desire and ability to lead on improving our products, process and materials, so we can give each client even better outcomes.
You’ll be busy, working with the portfolio managers to continue the development of our overall proposition, and pushing forwards the way that we engage with our clients. In particular, tuning in to clients across different geographies and channels and building on our strengths. Helping the team deliver the best portfolios for them and helping the client understand what we are doing and why. Sharing ideas and insights across our team.
What you’ll do
Drive the ongoing development of our proposition, and how we represent it across internal and external audiences
Be responsible for managing and leading business and commercial aspects on behalf of the team
Provide a link between our portfolio managers and our clients and their advisers
Help our clients to understand and articulate the outcome they want
Coordinate and oversee the setup of their mandate
Take a lead role in represent the team and the result of our work externally
Manage and enhance relationships, across various teams as well as with clients and advisers Improve our clients’ experiences and how we report information to them
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
Familiarity with IG credit markets and what makes a good B&M portfolio / bond
Ambition to have a key role in building a business, shaping our proposition and achieve commercial success
Desire to shape how we communicate with clients and to build and manage efficient processes to deliver information
Knowledge of fixed income metrics and ability to generate relevant analysis and data from our systems
Ability to lead prospective and current client engagement, and deliver complex concepts in a clear and concise way, both written and face to face
Experience with liability focussed investors and shaping a credit portfolio around this objective
An understanding of derivatives, including cross-currency swaps and collateral needs
Experience with and understanding of developing credit portfolios for key channels and geographies
ESG within credit selection
Familiarity with legal documents and portfolio guideline capture
